Enjoy a Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège spin on this fresh springtime cocktail. It adds a gourmet twist to an already fresh, zesty concoction. Fresh berries add that certain je ne sais quoi

Ingredients

1.5 oz Hennessy VS

.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

4-5 Blackberries or any other berry will work

.5 oz Simple syrup

1 dash of Cassis, Chambord or another berry liqueur

Garnish: twist of Lemon

Glass: Rocks

Preparation:

Muddle berries in the bottom of a shaker tin and add all ingredients with ice.  Shake until chilled and strain into a rocks glass with crushed ice.  Splash cassis over the top and garnish with lemon twist and a few blackberries.

Ingredients

1-1/2 oz Volcan de mi Tierra Blanco Tequila

1/2 oz Triple Sec

3/4 oz Fresh lime juice

1/2 oz Blood orange juice

3/4 oz Grapefruit Cordial

1/4 oz Vanilla syrup

1 oz Soda Water

Preparation

Shake Tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, blood orange juice, and syrups with ice. Strain into a cocktail coupe and top with a splash of Soda water.

Garnish with a Blood orange slice and a fresh flower.

For the Grapefruit Cordial:

1 cup white sugar

1/2 water

1/2 grapefruit , thinly sliced

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1-1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Heat sugar and water in a saucepan on low heat until the sugar has completed dissolved, let cool. Add sugar syrup to a food processor with grapefruit, lemon, and lime juice. Blend for 1-2 minutes, strain into a non-reactive container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

The Sazerac, named after a famous bar in Louisiana, was created in 1850 by Aaron Bird, an inspired mixologist. The cognac’s warmth and spices, coupled with the bitters and balanced out by crisp notes of lemon, blends with the absinthe perfectly.

Ingredients

2.5 oz Hennessy VSOP

.25 oz Simple Syrup

1/8th oz Absinthe

5 Dashes Paychaud Bitters

Garnish: Lemon Twist

Glass: Rocks

Preparation:

Add Hennessy, Simple Syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled, strain into a rocks glass that has been washed with the absinthe and garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients

2 oz Ron Barceló Imperial

1 oz Grand Marnier 

2 oz Passionfruit or Pineapple juice

Dash of cherry juice 

Preparation

In a rocks glass, garnish the rim with Tajin (optional)

Pour rum, Grand Marnier and juice into a shaker and shake vigorously  

Strain into a glass full of crushed ice 

Lastly, add a dash of cherry juice for that red bottom look

50 ml Diplomático Planas
10 ml White Vermouth
2,5 ml Palo Cortado sherry

Glass: Coupe

Ice: Served straight up

Method: Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice and refresh using a spoon. Filter and serve.

Garnish: an olive.

The Martini came on to the scene in the 1860s, although its exact origins are still unclear. In 1863, an Italian vermouth maker began using the brand name Martini for its product, after its director Alessandro Martini. That same brand name may be the source of the famous cocktail’s name.

Another version is that it was an evolution of the earlier, sweeter, Fancy Gin cocktail. Originally made with gin and vermouth, it presents an intriguing concoction when prepared with Planas.

Ingredients:
50 ml Mantuano.
12,5 ml sugar cane syrup
Crushed ice
6 mint leaves

Glass: Julep cup

Ice: Crushed ice

Method: Add fresh mint directly to a tall glass, softly muddle and incorporate all ingredients, top off with ice and soda.

Garnish: Fresh Mint

The Mint Julep is originally prepared with bourbon and is directly associated with the Southern U.S culture and gastronomy. It became famous around the eighteenth century, more particularly linked with the grandly celebrated horse race, The Kentucky Derby. 
Try this Diplomático Mantuano twist, that will bring out hints of dried fruit and vanilla tones, resulting in a delightful cocktail easy to sip on.
