HO- HO- HOlidays Cocktails to celebrate this season

by Helena Jose

We might be missing the cold winter and the white snow, but our Holiday Spirit knows that this is the most wonderful season of the year to celebrate it with our dear ones.  Here are a list of delicious cocktails to enjoy until the end of the year.

Bodega Taqueria and Tequila

Bodega is partnering with Patron Tequila to create an immersive holiday bar experience featuring a seasonal themed cocktail menu. This will be available at each of the Bodega locations throughout the month of December, ending the day after Christmas. Bodega will also be partnering with local nonprofit organizations to donate toys during the holiday season. Guests are encouraged to bring a toy which will entitle them to one (1) free holiday cocktail.

LPM Miami

This holiday season,  LPM Restaurant & Bar Miami will introduce a lineup of five festive cocktails to their already showstopping “Recipes for our Friends” cocktail menu, which is inspired by one of the 20th century’s most versatile artists, Jean Cocteau. Titled “Greetings to our Friends,” the reimagined menu pays homage to the tradition of sharing greeting cards with your loved ones during the holidays, representing the true meaning behind the season – sharing, gathering and expressing gratitude for one another.

Each cocktail symbolizes a different type of letter, dedicated to the various people in our lives that hold sentimental value:

  • Tribute (Letter to a Friend) –  A cocktail dedicated to an ill or health-conscious friend, featuring holistic “medicinal” benefits.

  • Maman (Letter to his Mom) – Representing luxury, grandeur, and success, this is a foie gras-based cocktail.

  • The Jean a Jean (Letter to his Lovers) is a mulled wine cocktail, served either hot or cold, in a hand-painted clay pot, symbolizing Jean Cocteau’s private love life, which through the years, inspired both him and his art.

  • The Homme au Café (Letter to Society) cocktail shares how the traditional café makes an impact to society as being a location to gather with others.

  • The Madeleine 1957 (Letter to Life) cocktail is the perfect combination of sweet and bitter and is served in aged clay pots and is reminiscent of life.
