Daniel’s Miami Brings LVMH Prestige Champagne and Petrossian Caviar Together for an Exclusive Dinner

The Coral Gables steakhouse continues to elevate Miami’s wine-dinner scene with an intimate evening featuring Krug, Dom Pérignon, Château d’Yquem, Hennessy X.O. and Petrossian Caviar.

Miami’s appetite for elevated wine dinners continues to grow, and Daniel’s Miami is leaning into the moment with experiences designed around some of the world’s most celebrated wine and spirits houses.

On Thursday, October 1, the Coral Gables steakhouse will host an exclusive LVMH Prestige Champagne & Caviar Dinner, created in collaboration with LVMH and Petrossian Caviar. The one-night-only experience will bring together a multi-course menu, prestige Champagne, benchmark wines and caviar in an intimate setting inspired by European-style hospitality.

“What makes this dinner so exciting is the opportunity to bring to our guests the iconic brands of the LVMH portfolio, such as Krug, Dom Perignon and Chateau d’Yquem, together with amazing caviar curated by Petrossian,” said Thomas Angelo, Co-Founder of Gioia Hospitality Group. “Our culinary team worked in tandem with Daniel Bishop on every element of this menu to make the pairings spectacular. Our Director of Hospitality John Riccardo will be working on all the details of the dinner to enhance the overall guest experience for what will be a memorable evening.” shares Thomas Angelo, Co-Founder of Gioia Hospitality Group.

The evening is the latest addition to Daniel’s expanding series of wine-focused experiences, which have previously included collaborations with names such as Vega Sicilia, Gaja, Quintessa, Rombauer and Cheval Blanc. The restaurant also welcomed The Rare Tour for its first-ever U.S. stop.

Champagne, Caviar and Wagyu

The October 1 dinner begins with Petrossian Caviar Service, featuring Ossetra and Tsar Imperial Ossetra, followed by an Hiramatsu A5 Wagyu amuse-bouche.

For the first course, guests will be served Hokkaido Scallop with clam velouté and Petrossian caviar, followed by Pear and Ricotta Tortellini with brown butter and sage.

The main course centers around a 6 oz Australian Cobungra Station Wagyu Filet, served with Sauce Foyot and caviar potato pavé.

To close the menu, Daniel’s will serve a Warm Apple Tarte Tatin with crème fraîche and caramel sauce.

But for wine lovers, the pairings may be just as compelling as the menu.

The evening’s lineup includes Krug 2013, Krug Grande Cuvée 172ème Édition, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2008, Le Petit Cheval 2021, Joseph Phelps Insignia Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 and Château d’Yquem 2007, before concluding with Hennessy X.O.

Together, the selections move guests through Champagne, Bordeaux, Napa Valley, Sauternes and Cognac, with each pour chosen to accompany a specific moment of the dinner.

Building a Serious Wine Destination in Coral Gables

Beyond the October dinner, Daniel’s Miami has been steadily developing a beverage program intended to make wine an integral part of the restaurant experience.

Led by Thomas Angelo, Kassidy Angelo, Danny Ganem and Wine & Beverage Director Daniel Bishop, the restaurant has assembled a cellar spanning rare and benchmark bottles from Italy, France, Spain and the United States.

The growing calendar of producer dinners offers another way to experience that collection. Rather than treating wine simply as an accompaniment to dinner, these evenings place individual producers, vintages and pairings at the center of the experience.

The LVMH Prestige Champagne & Caviar Dinner continues that approach, bringing several internationally recognized luxury houses together for a single evening in Coral Gables.

For Miami’s wine and spirits community, it is also another indication of how the city’s dining culture is evolving: beyond the traditional tasting dinner and toward increasingly specialized experiences built around provenance, exceptional bottles and thoughtful pairings.
