A vibrant celebration of Asian culture, community, and culinary creativity is returning to Smorgasburg Fort Lauderdale this May with the highly anticipated Asian Street Food Market: Mango Edition, a two-day festival honoring Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.

Taking place Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, the annual event is presented in partnership with Cross Cultures by lifestyle journalist and culinary consultant Cheryl Tiu, bringing together an expansive lineup of Asian street food vendors, live entertainment, cultural programming, and mango-inspired culinary specials in celebration of South Florida’s beloved mango season.

As one of South Florida’s largest outdoor food festivals, the event is expected to welcome more than 15,000 guests throughout the weekend, transforming Smorgasburg Fort Lauderdale into a lively hub of food, music, and cultural experiences.

A Celebration of Asian Street Food & Mango Season

This year’s festival will feature more than 45 food vendors, including over 15 AAPI-owned concepts representing cuisines from across Asia and the Pacific Islands. Guests can expect flavors from Burmese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese, and Polynesian culinary traditions, alongside more than 40 exclusive mango-inspired dishes and drinks created specifically for the event.

  • Mango Adobo Wings with Pinoy Mango Sauce by Bootchog’s Grill
  • Tofu with Mango Habanero Salsa by El Nopalito Vegan Taqueria
  • Mango Salmon Roll by Chef Norlan
