COYO Taco Celebrates Cinco de Mayo with Exclusive Collaborations, Creative Bites, and Citywide Festivities

Miami is gearing up for one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year, and COYO Taco is once again raising the bar for Cinco de Mayo with a dynamic lineup of experiences across all its South Florida locations.

This year, the spotlight shines on its South Miami outpost, where COYO Taco introduces a special one-day activation in collaboration with Levi’s® and The Salty. Blending fashion, flavor, and culture, the experience brings together interactive elements, limited-edition giveaways, and a curated menu that reflects the brand’s vibrant identity.

From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., guests can enjoy complimentary mini “Levi’s® Margaritas,” setting the tone for an afternoon of celebration. Starting at 5:00 p.m., the first guests will receive exclusive trucker jackets and tote bags, complete with on-site customization featuring designs inspired by COYO Taco’s bold aesthetic.

Adding to the experience, COYO Taco teams up with The Salty for the first time to debut a limited-time menu that merges savory and sweet in unexpected ways. Highlights include:

• Birria Cragel: slow-braised brisket with guajillo and ancho chiles, wrapped in croissant dough and served with consommé
• Horchata Donut: a 24-hour brioche ring soaked in horchata, dipped in chocolate, and topped with torched cinnamon meringue
• Churro Cruller: a hand-piped cruller coated in cinnamon sugar

These specialty items will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., or until sold out, exclusively at the South Miami location.

Music and entertainment remain central to the celebration, with live DJ sets and mariachi performances bringing an authentic and festive energy throughout the day.

Beyond South Miami, each COYO Taco location offers its own take on the holiday. From Wynwood to Brickell, Coral Gables, and Las Olas, guests can expect all-day specials including $6 margaritas, palomas, and micheladas, $5 beers, and 3-for-2 tacos.

At Giralda Plaza, the celebration expands with DJs, roaming mariachis, and an extended experience inside its speakeasy, while the Wynwood location continues its decade-long tradition of hosting one of the city’s most iconic Cinco de Mayo parties.
