Tokyo lands in Miami for two nights only 🇯🇵🍸

Spicy Hospitality Group brings Land Bar Artisan to Miami Beach for a limited engagement ahead of its New York debut. Welcoming owner and bartender Daisuke Ito for an intimate showcase of his signature cocktail program.

From May 8–9, guests can experience a refined, fruit-forward approach to cocktail-making, with ingredients like passionfruit, mango, tomato, and pomegranate—crafted with the precision and restraint that define Tokyo’s cocktail culture.

The experience will also feature bites by James Taylor of The Joyce, available à la carte.

Last night, Niño Gordo welcomed Zitz Sum for its Cooking with Friends series, blending both culinary identities into a special à la carte experience. It was my first time bringing my little foodie along for a mommy and me dinner.

We sat at the bar in front of the open kitchen, where the experience felt even more alive, watching each dish come together, face-to-face with the chefs Ghian Polke (Niño Gordo) and Pablo Zitxmann, Zitz Sum’s Chef & Owner.

From the delicate Hokkaido scallops to the indulgent Udon Carbonara from Zitz Sum, and the Fish of the Day from Niño Gordo, every bite felt thoughtful and full of flavor.

My daughter enjoyed their signature mocktail, “Lola Menta,” while I had a house-recommended Sake. It was one of those nights you wish could linger a little longer.

Warm, vibrant, and delicious from start to finish.

Women’s Day Sparkling Rum Cocktail - The Golden Bloom

Ingredients
• 1.5 oz Ron Carúpano 12 Year
• 0.5 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice
• 0.25 oz elderflower liqueur
• 0.25 oz fresh lime juice
• 2 oz dry sparkling wine or brut prosecco
• Top with chilled soda water

Method
Add rum, grapefruit, elderflower, and lime to a shaker with ice.
Shake lightly
Strain into a chilled flute
Add sparkling wine.
Top gently with soda and give a quick stir.
