La Ruta del Ron’s special collaborative weeklong promotional event in Little Havana is set for April 5- April 11, 2021. The event has been created with CDC guidelines to ensure each guest’s safety and ability to have a wonderful experience. The event will highlight the unique culture of Little Havana with live music, premium rums, and cigars by safely showcasing the best Bar Programs of Calle Ocho to both South Florida locals and tourists. The event will also give back to these venues which have suffered for the past year as a direct result of Covid-19. As the center of Cuban culture in Miami, Little Havana deserves attention, recognition, and support. Ron Diplomatico, Don Papa Rum, Plantation, Ron Barcelo, Rum Clement, Ten to One Rum are some of the selected premium Rums sponsoring the event.
La Ruta del Ron is a Bar Hopping experience. Throughout the week of promotions, guests will purchase their passports, and then taste all of the different Premium rums safely & responsibly, visiting every bar and restaurant on the Treasure Map at their own pace. Each time guests visit a new bar, they will get their passport stamped and a comped specialty rum cocktail (they can also purchase more of these premium cocktails for $12 each).

Opening Party which will be a display of our sponsors’ lounge where you can taste their different variety of rums and cocktails at Taquerias El Mexicano’s newest garden, come and enjoy and complimentary cocktails while listening to the Dj’s Music, giveaways, and more.

Join us for our closing Party with a special pop-up at Cafe La Trova’s 80’s Bar. There will be flairing, and amazing cocktails by one of our favorites Bars in Miami. La Ruta del Ron will also work with different locations to run other events throughout the week such as cigar & rum nights, live music, rum pairing dinners, Comedy night, historical rum tasting, and celebrity bartender guest shifts by Ben Rojo, National Ambassador from Don Papa Rum.
