Loiver learned a lot from his aunt and other great bartenders he worked with since his start at the Hotel Trip Cayo Coco in Cuba. Today, his unique approach to crafting cocktails has earned him a reputation as one of Miami’s most talented bartenders.
He currently works at one of the most esteemed bars in Miami and is recognized as one of the city’s most skilled Cantinero. Loiver’s journey from a bartender to a Bar Manager is a testament to the hard work and dedication required to succeed in the mixology industry. Café la Trova occupies a special place in his heart, as he has worked in many impressive establishments, but this bar feels like home to him. It’s a dream come true for him to be part of this project since he had a clear vision of what he wanted to achieve when he came to Miami. Loiver has won the national Italicus competition this year and is all set to represent the US in the global finals in Rome. He participated in the Bacardi competition two years ago, where he secured second place, competing with other great bartenders like Josue Gonzales and Rodrigo Tubert. According to Loiver, the greatest recognition he receives is the love and respect of people for his work.
